Why I love dog training
Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life. I tuned into how much love dogs gave as well as the unconditional devotion they offered to their human pack. I have watched ASAS evolve into this amazing, life-saving program for veterans. Witnessing the tremendous growth and inspiration that ASAS has offered to veterans over the last 13 years, made me realize that I wanted to be a part of this organization. The healing benefits of this program are endless.
I have always felt compassion and gratitude towards the veterans, so the next step was earning my degree so that I could come on board with the charity. My journey through school enabled me to strengthen that bond that I have with my own dog. That was an “a-ha” moment for me. I began to really understand the importance of the way ASAS’ training program is structured. I am truly glad that I relocated from Alabama to help veterans.
